The Family Resource Center                                         Activities Calendar

Family & Children’s Service of Greater Lynn, Inc., in collaboration with the Lynn Community Partnership for Children, has realized their goal of opening Lynn’s first Family Resource Center.  The Center is dedicated to family support services that nurture, support and educate children, parents, families and early childhood professionals. The Center serves as a centralized clearinghouse for up-to-date information on local resources for parents and their preschool aged children, including day care, health care, early childhood education, and special needs programs. The positive atmosphere encourages children and parents to play and learn together, while providing space for skills development of childcare and early education specialists.

The Center is available for meetings and professional training for early childhood providers in the city of Lynn.

Books & Toy Lending Library

The Center’s lending library offers materials in English, Spanish, and Khmer.  Two items per family such as books, toys, games, story videos, musical instruments, cassettes, and movement ideas for children may be borrowed for two weeks at a time.  (Arrangements can be made for additional time.)
