The Family Financial Stability Program (FFS) is a Special Fund Program of the United Way, administered locally by Family & Children’s Service of Greater Lynn, Inc.  The fund helps provide for emergency assistance to families and individuals living in Lynn, Saugus, Nahant, Lynnfield, and Swampscott.  

FFS is a “last resort," and is not an entitlement program.  In order to qualify, all other entitlement and government funded aid must have been utilized and completely exhausted.

Due to the high number of calls and limited funds we are NOT taking voicemail messages.

Our FFS Intake Worker will ONLY be available to take calls  

Tuesdays from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
               and  5:00 pm to 7:30pm

These are the only times you many apply to the FFS Program.

You must speak to a FFS Intake Worker to apply to the program.

Please note that the FFS telephone line will indicate when funds are available.
